You’re Beautiful When You’re Ovulating

You’ve heard about the glow of pregnancy. Well, there’s also a glow associated with ovulation.

According to research, men perceive women as more beautiful when they’re most fertile. In a study conducted at the University of Newcastle in England, 48 women were photographed during two different phases of their menstrual cycles. A group of men and women between the ages of 18 and 44 viewed the photos and chose the one they found more attractive. Most selected the pictures taken when the women were ovulating, preferring their more attractive lip color and size, dilated pupils, and softer skin color and tone. Interestingly, the women raters were more sensitive than the men to fertility’s beautifying effect.
