The Season for Having Babies

Have you ever wondered why there seems to be an explosion of very pregnant women during the summer?

Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. There’s evidence that our fertility may be influenced by the seasons and that paying attention to this could influence your chances of conception. Over the past decade, July has been the most popular birth month, with August a close second, according to the U.S. Census. Some experts believe the summer birth rate bump is tied to fall holidays and family vacations, when couples spend more time together.
