You may already know that RESOLVE's National Infertility Awareness Week is underway. Check out their site for all kinds of good information and ways to get involved.

Today, April 25, is Advocacy Day, when RESOLVE is going to Washington, DC with a group of people who've been affected by infertility with the goal of speaking to elected officials about fertility issues and help to defend citizens' options for building a family. In specific, the group wants to increase awareness about and support for the Family Act of 2011, which would "create a tax credit for the out-of-pocket costs associated with infertility medical treatment." If you can't attend Advovacy Day you can still ask your senators and representatives to support the bill, and encourage your family and friends to do as well.

Even if you can't head to D.C., you can still attend an event this week: Here's a list of events for the week around the country.

How will you show your support of National Infertility Awareness Week? What do you wish more people understood about infertility?
