How do you feel about Mother's Day?

No matter what, this is definitely a holiday that brings up a lot of emotions for most of us who are TTC.

You probably already know that this Sunday, May 13, is Mother's Day in the U.S. Maybe you already bought your mom a card, sent her a present or flowers, or are planning on spending the day with her.

It's hard, of course, not to think about what it means to be a mother yourself -- whether you will miss out on all the moments you hope to cherish, or whether you're just one menstrual or IVF cycle away from having your dream come true. This is a day that can bring up a slew of emotions, many of them difficult -- hope for the future, fear that what you want won't happen, gratitude that you had a great mom yourself (and want to do the same for your child), and/or frustration and anger at a celebration of mothers that, for another year, won't include you.

There's no easy way through it; that much you already know from your journey to conceive a child. But sharing what you're going through may make the feelings a little easier to bear for someone else. Please take a moment to share what Mother's Day means to you, as a woman who's trying to conceive.

We at ConceiveOnline.com wish you a very, very happy Mother's Day, with the sincere wish that next year, you are celebrating!
